In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Center for Leadership Development (CLD) kicked off its partnership with Onebridge with a day of service. The day of service included in-kind donations from Onebridge of time and resources to CLD and the surrounding community. Some of the in-kind projects on Martin Luther King Jr. Day included a community cleanup and donations of professional support to CLD staff.
“The Center for Leadership Development is committed to serving the community by uplifting and supporting the youth who live here,” said CLD President Dennis Bland. “In the spirit of celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we are standing on that commitment to give back to our community. Together with Onebridge, we were able to do good for our neighbors and support the mission of CLD.”
CLD president Dennis Bland, together with Onebridge volunteers, worked to clean Martin Luther King Jr. Street; home to CLD. Together they also handed out cleaning supplies and information kits to the surrounding community. Onebridge also donated in-kind services to expand the capacity of CLD and assist the organization in serving students and families in Central Indiana. Onebridge provided marketing and video support to assist with the creation of marketing collateral for the local organization. The data analytics firm also provided assistance historicizing CLD archives dating back to the 1980’s, preserving the historic impact of the organization.
“CLD serves a mission that Onebridge and all of our employee-owners fully endorse and are dedicated to supporting,” said Onebridge Chief Executive Officer Paul Rothwell. “Our team of volunteers enjoyed getting to know the CLD community and staff and lending our expertise to support the organization’s mission. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a day to celebrate by being of service to others, and we hope this partnership is a shining example of true community service.”
Onebridge, a data analytics and consulting firm located in Zionsville, IN, is committed to giving back to the community and has centered its mission around social justice.
